The Successful Tender for Host of the University of Strathclyde and CRER was announced by Scottish Government in May 2025.

The value of the tender was for Value excluding VAT: £2,826,472.75 over a two-year period. The date of conclusion of the contract is 24 April 2025 (University of Strathclyde, 2025)

Due to the delay in starting, the University of Strathclyde is currently applying for a no cost extension.
